Sixxplayya plays StrataVicious Custom Fender Guitars. Each Guitar is built to his specs and most feature Lace Noiseless Pickups.He also plays an Ibanez Artcore Jazz Guitars.His acoustic work is done with a Custom Ovation Tangent and a Custom Dean Acoustic/Electric guitar. His favorite guitars are his custom Buddy Guy Signature Strats. His Road Rig consists of a Rack Rider RR15 Power Supply, Korg DTR2 Digital Rack Tuner, Samson CR4 Guitar Wireless System, Custom Mesa V-Twin Preamp, Rocktron Super C Hush, TC Electronics G-Major Guitar Processor all controlled by a Rocktron Bradshaw RSB-12F/RSB12R . Sixx also uses a Dunlop GCB-95F Crybaby Classic Wah Wah Pedal and hears it all thru a Sure PSM200 Personal In-Ear Monitor System. For Church , Sessions and Club Dates Sixx trust his sound to the Vox Tone Lab SE and a Custom Peavy Chorus 400 combo amp.
For recording I use the best! I use Pro Tools Mbox 2 Mini and a Dell insperion E1705 with windows Vista. It's the best protable system I could find. I can record any time , any place and for me that's what it's all about. Getting the dreams down when ever they come, where ever they come. It dosen't get any better than that!
